“Not Just Treatment: The Right Decision, Ethical Approach, and Trust”
Hello everyone,
Today, I would like to explain how we build the trust our patients place in us, and how treatment planning something that is a natural and routine process for us creates a real impact on our patients’ lives.
What we do is not actually complicated. For us, this process simply consists of applying ethical dentistry correctly, making accurate diagnoses, and integrating a patient centered approach into every stage.
Unfortunately, in today’s world especially in health tourism this approach does not always take priority. In a system where financial factors often outweigh decision making, the fundamental principle of medicine, “primum non nocere” “first, do no harm” can gradually fade into the background.
For me, the greatest boundary and strongest guide in this profession has always been conscience. Because a physician’s true authority lies not in external regulations, but in their own ethical limits.
Today, the uncontrolled growth of health tourism, the inability to consistently maintain adequate standards, and the accessibility of this field to almost anyone unfortunately expose many patients to clinical outcomes that are difficult to reverse.
What differentiates ETH Dental is our ability to combine years of clinical experience with a multidisciplinary approach, offer treatment focused and personalized planning for each patient, and most importantly, manage the entire process within an ethical and conscientious framework.
For us, success is not just completing a treatment, but building a long term, trust based relationship with our patients.
Now, I would like to briefly explain under a few headings why this approach resonates so strongly with our patients.
In the introduction of my article, I want to clearly answer the question: “What do we do differently?”
Today, dentistry is not limited to simply performing treatments (perhaps in the future even robots could do that). It means making accurate diagnoses, understanding the patient’s real needs, and planning with long term outcomes in mind.
At ETH Dental, we do not view treatment merely as “procedures to be done,” but as a holistic process that must be evaluated alongside the patient’s overall health, expectations, and quality of life.
Thanks to this holistic approach, we not only help our patients address their current needs but also provide them with the foundation for a healthy future throughout their lives.
At the core of our next generation dentistry approach are:
For us, what matters is not applying the same treatment to every patient, but determining the right treatment for each individual and applying it at the right time in the right way.
Because the real difference does not start with the materials used it starts with the perspective toward the patient. For example, even the world’s best implant brand can become useless if applied with the wrong diagnosis and execution.
The strongest foundation of our clinic is the mutual trust, transparency, and ethical approach we establish with our patients.
For us, a patient is never just a “case” or a “job.” Each patient is an individual with their own story, expectations, and responsibilities.
That’s why we maintain open communication at every stage, clearly explain all options, and make decisions together with our patients.
Because we believe that true trust is built not only through the right treatment but also through the right communication.
Today, our success in All on 4 and All on 6 treatments is frequently discussed on digital platforms. There is a reason behind this success but it’s not a secret.
The foundation of success lies in experienced clinicians working together in strong coordination for each patient.
These treatments are not just about placing implants. They require a multidisciplinary approach involving surgical planning, prosthetic design, aesthetic analysis, and functional balance.
At ETH Dental, every case is evaluated collaboratively across disciplines, with planning focused on the patient’s long term satisfaction.
Because true success in these treatments is not the result of a single procedure, but of a well coordinated team.
In dental education, we are often taught about diseases and cases. However, one crucial element is often missing: the patient.
Each patient has different needs, expectations, psychology, and living conditions. Therefore, even two patients with the same clinical condition cannot receive the same treatment.
At ETH Dental, we approach treatment not just through teeth, but by evaluating the patient as a whole.
From diagnosis onward, we plan every step individually and create a tailored roadmap rather than relying on standard protocols.
Because the right treatment is not the same for everyone it is the one tailored to the patient.
One of the most difficult decisions in dentistry is whether to preserve existing teeth or opt for a more radical treatment.
Unfortunately, some approaches today prioritize what is fastest or easiest rather than what is best for the patient.
At ETH Dental, we evaluate each case through detailed clinical and radiological analysis, considering tooth condition, bone level, long term success potential, and patient expectations.
Sometimes preserving teeth is the best option; in other cases, a more radical treatment (such as All on 4 or All on 6) may be the better long term solution.
The key is not applying the same treatment to everyone, but making the right decision for the right patient at the right time.
Success in dentistry is not measured solely by performing treatment correctly.
What truly matters is predicting how the treatment will perform in the long term.
At ETH Dental, we plan every treatment not just for today, but with a 5 or 10 year perspective.
We evaluate factors such as bone structure, gum health, patient habits, and overall health to ensure sustainability.
Because a result that looks good in the short term can lead to problems if not properly planned.
Our goal is not just to complete treatment, but to ensure it remains stable and healthy over time.
Recently, many patients have been coming to us for second opinions on treatments planned elsewhere.
This is not a preference for us it is a responsibility.
Patients often arrive confused, facing multiple treatment options and unsure which is correct.
We objectively evaluate their situation, eliminate unnecessary procedures, clarify what is needed, and present a clear roadmap.
Our goal is never to criticize another treatment, but to help patients make informed decisions.
Because true trust begins when patients can distinguish what is right.
Many patients come to us with treatments performed in other clinics.
Our approach is clear: not to judge, but to understand and find solutions.
We focus on analyzing the current condition through clinical and radiological evaluation, creating revision plans if needed, and offering the best options moving forward.
Our goal is not to question the past, but to provide the healthiest and most sustainable solution for the future.
Today, patients don’t just want treatment they want to understand it.
At ETH Dental, we see treatment as a transparent process carried out together with the patient.
We inform patients at every stage and involve them in decision making.
Because informed patients adapt better, make better decisions, and are more satisfied.
Our growth is not driven by aggressive marketing or campaigns.
The main reason patients choose us is because they share their positive experiences and recommend us.
Trust built through accurate diagnosis, ethical practice, and transparent communication has created a strong network.
For us, success is not just the final aesthetic result.
True success is a journey that begins with correct diagnosis, continues with proper planning, and remains healthy in the long term.
We prioritize doing what is right, not what is fast.
Because a good treatment should prove itself not only today, but years later.
In our approach, there is no exaggeration only what is right.
Because we believe that true luxury is health, and a healthy life begins with a properly planned smile.
